Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women maintains of discipline among Students through the Ordinance XV-B of University of Delhi.
To enforce discipline under the Ordinance the following shall amount to acts of gross indiscipline.
- Physical assault, or threat to use physical force, against any member of the teaching and non teaching staff of any Institution / Department and against any student within the University of Delhi .
- Carrying of, use of or threat to use of any weapons.
- Any violation of the provisions of the Civil Rights Protection Act, 1976.
- Violation of the status, dignity and honour of students belonging to the scheduled castes and tribes.
- Any practice-whether verbal or otherwise-derogatory of women.
- Any attempt at bribing or corruption in any manner
- Willful destruction of institutional property
- Creating ill-will or intolerance on religious or communal grounds.
- Causing disruption in any manner of the academic functioning of the University system;
- Prohibition of Ragging as per Ordinance XV-C.
Necessary action will be taken for maintaining discipline as may seem to him/her appropriate.
Ragging is any act of physical or mental abuse (including bullying and exclusion) targeted at another student (fresher or otherwise) on the ground of colour, race, religion, caste, ethnicity, gender (including transgender), sexual orientation, appearance, nationality, regional origins, linguistic identity, place of birth, place of residence or economic background.
Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited, within the premises of College as well as on public transport. Any individual or collective act or practice of ragging constitutes gross indiscipline and shall be dealt with under the University of Delhi Ordinance XV-C .
It is compulsory for each student as well as her parents/guardian to submit an online undertaking every academic year at www.antiragging.in The UGC has made it mandatory for all students/parents/guardian to submit anti ragging related affidavits to the institutions at the time of admission. Now it is brought to the notice of all Universities, Institutions, Students and Parents that these affidavits can be downloaded from the web site of UGC .
